Salon Concerts Chicago presents Andrew Finn Magill and Dave Curley this winter.
Finn Magill first started playing fiddle at age 10 and by 16 was a two-time finalist at the All-Ireland Championships. Raised at The Swannanoa Gathering in Asheville, North Carolina, Magill is an enthusiastic performer and instructor and has taught fiddle/violin for more than a decade at fiddle camps throughout the world.
Dave Curley, multi-instrumentalist, singer and dancer from Corofin, County Galway, has been making big waves in the Irish music scene in Ireland, Europe and the U.S. in the last number of years. After graduating from the University of Limerick’s groundbreaking Irish Music and Dance programme with a 1st class honors, Curley became a creative member of award-winning bands Slide and RUNA. He regularly performs with Moya Brennan.
The Finn Magill and David Curley Salon Concert is Friday, December 1 at 8pm. Tickets $20 children and teens 18 and under are free! With special guests, the Academy of Irish Music. To purchase tickets, buy at the door.

These include the Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp, Montana Fiddle Camp, Fiddlekids, The Acadia Trad School, the Swannanoa Gathering’s Celtic and Fiddle Weeks, O’Flaherty Irish Music Youth Camp, Common Ground on the Hill, Goderich Celtic Roots, and Old Songs.
