Eileen Gannon – the third harp concert as part of the @SalonConcertsChi series. Here at the 2013 Big Muddy Folk Festival – superlative harping by one of the best in the world!

This should be a wonderful show full of jigs, reels, hornpipes and songs! We realized this past weekend that we have had THREE shows with world-class harpers as part of the Salon Concerts Chicago series! We featured Moya Brennan – First Lady of Celtic Music and Cormac de Barra as a duo, then Moya and Cormac and her family, both shows were spectacular. Now we have the St. Louis based harper Eileen Gannon – Harpist in a duo with Eimear Arkins Music. If you love the harp, this is a “Don’t Miss” concert on August 25th!
